From Theory to Applications - ICTTA’08

The International Conference on Information & Communication Technologies: from Theory to Applications - ICTTA’08 - will be held from April 7 - 11, 2008 in Damascus, Syria.

After two successful editions, ICTTA’08 continues the tradition of providing a unique venue for the cross-fertilization between operational academic & industrial expertise; governmental and other organizational requirements and novel technologies and technical solutions on topics relevant to today’s fast moving areas of Information and Communication Technologies.

ICTTA’08 will offer oral, poster sessions, tutorials and, professional meetings. Submitted papers are expected to cover state-of-the-art technologies, theoretical concepts, standards, products implementation, ongoing research projects and innovative applications of the IC Technologies use.

In addition to the regular ICTTA’08 sessions, some topics will be organized as technical workshops. These workshops will be mainly focussing on specific ICT applications. Best Paper Awards: Selection of the best papers will be made at ICTTA’08 based on both the technical content and presentation. The winners will be chosen by a Technical Award Committee in consultation with the International Advisory Committee.

WORKSHOPS SESSIONS & TUTORIALS:

ICTTA’08 organizers encourage scientists & industry leaders to organize and participate in special workshops, tutorials and panel sessions. A session proposal should indicate the topic and identify invite moderators and session technical papers.

PAPERS SUBMISSION:

Papers will be reviewed on the basis of two pages extended abstracts of sufficient detail to permit reasonable evaluation. The final version of accepted papers should be six pages long. Author kit and submission details are available on the conference’s web page http://ictta.enst-bretagne.fr/:
1. The authors are strongly encouraged to submit the full paper with their extended abstracts allowing thus a better evaluation by the conference reviewers.
2. All paper submissions (ICTTA’08 and ICTTA’08 workshops) should be made to ictta@enst-bretagne.fr

IMPORTANT DATES:

Abstract submission due: December 09, 2007 Notification of Acceptance: January 14, 2008 Final Camera Ready Papers due: February 15, 2008

Venue: The ICTTA’08 conference will take place in Omayyad Palace/Damascus. A social program will be organized to allow visiting the oldest city in the world (Damascus) and some imprints of the world’s oldest civilizations.
