11th Optical Network Design and Modeling conference
Athens, Greece on May 29-31, 2007

The 11th Optical Network Design and Modeling conference (ONDM 2007 - www.ondm2007.gr) will be organized at AIT, Athens, Greece on May 29-31, 2007.

The Optical Network Design and Modeling - ONDM conference is organized annually by the Working Group 6.10 (WG6.10) of the Technical Committee 6 (TC6- Communications Systems) of IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing - http://www.ifip.org). The purpose of the ONDM conference is to address recent advances in the design, modeling and implementation of optical networks, including novel switching schemes and paradigms, network optimization and design, new concepts for link and control layer protocols, advanced network subsystems and node architectures and network inter-working schemes.

ONDM 2007 (www.ondm2007.gr) will be held in the beautiful and historic city of Athens, Greece on May 29-31, 2007, and will be organized by the Athens Information Technology Center (AIT - www.ait.gr). The conference is fully supported by the EU e-Photon/One Network of Excellence research project (http://www.e-photon-one.org). Additionally ONDM is supported by the COST 291 action (http://palantir.ait.edu.gr/cost291) and co-locates a workshop organized by this project with focus on: Optical networking perspectives vs. optical technologies reality.

The ONDM 2007 organizers would like to invite paper submissions to the ONDM conference and the associated COST 291 workshop.
