1st IFIP-IMIA International e-Health Joint Conference

Conference topics For the first time in history, IFIP and IMIA (International Medical Informatics Association) will hold the joint E-Health conference as part of “Treat IT” stream of the IFIP World Congress 2010 Program. Healthcare Computing and Communications (e-Health), as a new interdisciplinary field, address how to enable ICT to help people perform and receive more efficient, effective and safe healthcare services. To foster scientific discussion and disseminate new knowledge on e-Health, we invite you to submit papers and posters describing original researches, applications, or practical use cases in any of the areas listed below.

Camera-ready copies: May 15, 2010
Instructions for paper submission
· Papers must not substantially overlap with papers that have been published or are simultaneously submitted to a journal or another conference with proceedings.
· Papers must be written in English; they should be at most 8 pages in total.
· Accepted papers (8 pages) and posters (1 page) will be presented at the conference and published in the IFIP AICT (Advances in Information and Communication Technology) Series by Springer.
· Submitted and accepted papers must follow the publisher’s guidelines for the IFIP AICT Series www.springer.com/series/6102, Author templates, Manuscript preparation in Office 2007 Word - http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-7-72376-0#anchor11
· At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference and present the paper.
· All papers must be submitted in MS WORD format through the web via http://www.wcc2010.com/call-for-papers/submit-a-paper by January 31, 2010.
